I love training with Callie, my golden retirever, as it is an outlet for us to work together learn new things and to help create an even better bond between us.

Callie has earned her CKC Canine Good Neighbour title and Therapy Dog title with Therapeutic Paws of Canada. Callie works as a therapy dog visiting patients in local hospitals creating joy for those in her presence.  Callie has learned a number of tricks and the hospital staff and  patients love seeing her pray, play dead, pick up her toys and wave to them.

Callie also earned her Child Therapy title with Therapeutic Paws of Canada and will start working with children as well.

Callie loves to dress up.  At Hallowe'en she was an amubulance with flashing lights and at Christmas, she was a Christmas tree with lights again.  Callie was a big hit.

Callie even helped raise money for palliative care last winter 2025-26, wearing a sign that said “free kisses for palliative care”.
