Mary Mackay, Vice President
Since a young age, I had a passion working with dogs. I attended obedience, rally obedience, tracking and show handling classes. I knew this was the beginning of my future and began my journey.
I have shown and bred Great Danes and Doberman Pinschers. I had the pleasure of obtaining the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog status with my Great Dane; competed in IGP/Schutzhund with my Doberman, CKC Obedience, Tracking, Rally Obedience, Agility and Scent Detection as well asTemperament Testing.
Becoming a professional dog trainer evolves around learning, attending seminars and workshops yearly and working with mentors that have titled in Canada and the USA with top dogs including Dr. Ian Dunbar, Dr. Stanley Coren, Gary Wilkes and Connie Cleveland (Obedience Road). I thrive to educate and train clients and their canine partners by providing them with the latest techniques to help them achieve their goals.
My accreditations over 42 years include a license for CKC CGN (Canine Good Neighbour), Certified in Animal Handling, Canine First Aid &; CPR, former Veterinary Assistant and Manager of the Canine Reproduction Team, Certified in Canine Neonatal Care and Stat Triages. Member of Veterinary Support Professional Network, and Professional Dog Groomer.
