I brought home my first Great Dane, shortly after emigrating to Canada from Scotland thirty years ago. Although I had a start in Obedience, I moved into conformation events for several years. More recently, I have moved back into the performance world since retiring from a long teaching career. I am currently heavily involved in organizing canine performance and conformation events, related educational seminars and workshops and offering OFA health clinics for the community. I am the current Show Chair and Director Shows and Trials for The Ottawa Kennel Club. This has allowed me to develop an extensive knowledge relating to various CKC events. I currently volunteer as secretary for stand alone trials, matches and CKC Sanctioned events, which I greatly enjoy. My husband Al is a CAF Veteran and he and I are 'owned' by our two Great Danes and a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
